EASTER EGGS

Decoration of Easter Eggs is a very popular practice in UK and USA. Then children compete rolling their eggs down a hill.
Here , in Spain, we don't usually decorate eggs but this year , due to quarantine (COVID-19) some of our students have decided to spend their time decorating eggs.
This is the result, I hope you like them as much as I do.

The students of 2nd ESO have created wonderful toys out of recycled material. They have also shooted a video explaining how to do it.

ENGLISH WEEK

This school year the students of 3th ESO have experienced a great week in Os Peares. 

There they have met many students from other high schools around Galicia and maybe some will be friends forever!!!

They have carried out a lot of activities (all in English!!!): classes, games, karaoke, dancing, fashion shows, etc.

The topic was "A sustainable world" which was ideal since it was also the topic of our school for this year (and we hope forever!). So, they have learned a lot about the three Rs and many words in English related to the topic. Here are some photos:

Travelling is great!!! You can meet new people, explore new places and learn about different cultures, but you must be responsible and respectful. For this reason the students of 3rd Eso have discussed about this topic and have looked for information. Then, they have created a poster with tips about sustainable tourism. Here is an animation .

EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES

EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES

On Thursday 26th September we celebrate the European Day of languages.It is an important day because we'd like our students to know and respect other cultures. For these reason the students of 1st Eso have learned how to name some countries and nationalities and how to say two of the most important words in any language : "Hello" and "Thank you".
We have created a poster with the flags of each contry and this information.

RECIPES 1º ESO

The students of 1º Eso have recorded some videos explaining how to make delicious recipes. They are great chefs!!!1

MUSIC OF THE 20TH CENTURY

This school year the school library has proposed the theme of "Music of the 20th century", for this reason, the students of 4th Eso have carried out a project about it.
They did different tasks:
-A video with information about their favourite bands (with activities for their mates)
-A poster advertising a concert
-A cd cover
-A video singing one song of their favourite bands (they are really funny!!!!)

The students of 2º ESO  did these interesting posters based on the books "Good Night Stories for Rebel  Girls " (vol. 1 and 2 ).They are about famous women singers from the XX century, as this is the topic of the school library for this year.
